For a peaceful retreat from the bustle of city life, you can spend a few hours at the Salisbury University Arboretum, a collection of over 2000 plant species all located on Salisbury University Campus. For sports fans, Salisbury is the perfect destination for watching baseball, being the home of the Delmarva Shorebirds. You can find out more about the city’s history in baseball by taking a visit to the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium to see the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame.

Getting around Salisbury

If you want to explore the local area you really need to hire a car in Salisbury, especially if you want to reach the coast.
