Ok, so it was the Friday afternoon before the Fourth of July but it took 45 minutes on line waiting to get assigned a car. What a nightmare. Once you got your little piece of paper then you had to wait outside for some poor guy who is running around trying to help everyone to actually assign you a car. Completely disorganized and inefficient I won’t book with budget again.

Budget at LaGuardia Airport was fast, easy, and the staff friendly for both rental and return. Easy to find offsite location. Shuttle was fast with helpful and friendly drivers.

The company was not up front with their pricing for unlimited miles. I used the car to travel to Massachusetts and Rhode Island but also needed to go to New Hampshire. This company charges additional money to take the car to New Hampshire. Had I known this prior to booking I would not have booked with this company. Unfortunately, I only found out when I arrived at the booking site in person and it was already too late.

I ordered a rental cause my car was in the shop. A day or two later I got a call my car was ready. I canceled my order but you have to pay a $100 cancellation fee regardless of how many days you are from reservation. If you create a rental and then an hour later you cancel? $100.

Communication/messaging of store hours would be helpful. Would be great if I was able to input arrival and departure upon reservation or the ability to modifying. Would be great if you call center prompts had more options or a human being to speak with

The pick up and drop off experience were great. The shuttles from the airport were nice and the drivers friendly. The only issue is that after we dropped off the car, and an employee looked at everything with us standing there, the next day they claimed there were scratches. It was impossible for us to have made them. We picked up the car, stopped at a convenience store (only one person went in) stopped to fill up before dropping it off (again, only 1 person left the car) and we dropped it off. We told them this, and they didn't contact us again, so it ended up ok. But, would've been even better without that potential incident.
