Pick up was a bit more complicated than we were used to as we had to walk through much of the parking lot at ohare to find a car that was available. Also I wish the different drop off fee wasnt so expensive. I did appreciate being able to drop it off at a location in town rather than the airport.

Enterprise always offers better service. On this rental, the guy offered me a choice of SUVs and (when I explained I was picking up my kid from college) said he could substitute a minivan at the same price. That worked better for me so I ended up in a nice, new hybrid minivan for the long ride.

1.5 hour wait... told things I knew were not true. Car smelt like smoke after the detailing smells wore off. Not a fun experience at all and will not use Enterprise again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Pick up and drop off we’re smooth. There was some trash in the car, under the seats, water bottle and receipts, so they could do better on cleanliness. Overall, a good experience!

It was difficult to reach a live person to coordinate my drop off at the Tampa airport. The representative I finally reached was difficult to understand, and didn’t understand that the car was being dropped off at Signature Aviation in Tampa. I relied on Signature Flight Support Tampa to coordinate the drop off there. Otherwise, it was a quick seamless experience. Thanks!

We will never use Dollar again. We prepaid our rental car. We stood in line for 45 min only to find out when we got to the counter that they had no cars left. We were told to wait around a couple hours, behind dozens of other people also waiting, for cars to be returned. Totally unacceptable!

Our flight was cancelled so we flew the next day. Dollar said they would hold the reservation for 48 hours. Upon arrival they said they had not held the CAR for 48 hours, only the reservation. They proceeded to upsell us in order to get an available car. I am reminded of a Seinfeld episode. Poor service. Will not book with them again.

Switched rental car because the first car was lost and the 2nd vehicle wasn’t working due to check engine light and 3rd vehicle had 3/4fuel it was a SUV not truck and I purchased Toll passe for vehicle and 3rd vehicle didn’t have iPass for tolls that was purchased. At Drop off I was on time and attended left had to walk across parking garage and over to terminal to go to counter. I filled vehicle full and at departure at 3/4 fuel. I have pictures and documentation. The cost and delay getting vehicle to not right vehicle and missing toll pass caused my 4hr trip to Indianapolis international take 5hrs 42min after delay in Chicago rental car departure location.

Pick up was easy as all rental buses go to the same off airport building. Rental counter staff did not try to push extras, except for toll package as all tolls in Chicago area require IPASS per counter staff member…..this was not exactly true as you can pay on line within 14 days per toll signs. So we paid an extra $30. To FOX and only went thru 2 toll booths which would have cost a total of $2.00 vs her charging us $30…….that was our only complaint. Return was easy with nice staff.

Not Fox's fault but, the 2020 Jeep Wrangler design is to have the car shut off when you come to a complete stop(such as a traffic light). It would restart as soon as you took your foot off the brake. It was very annoying, as well as excessive wear on the cars starter I assume. Other wise everything went extremely well with Fox Rent A Car. I've been using them for years and have yet to have any negative experiances.

Expedited my travel needs despite the high demand I was treated as if I was the only one present! They were all smiles and more than happy to help. Good price is the only positive about my experience.

Pick up and drop off is awful. You must take the rental shuttle to the main rental terminal off site, then call for their own shuttle to take you further off site. I waited an additional 25 minutes for the extra shuttle. Furthermore there was no urgency. Van wasn’t washed until we checked in

Absolutely nothing!

This location is super shady with their pricing. Why do you, as KAYAK and priceline.com, allow this company to post on your website that unlimited miles are included in their pricing without an asterisk or something to let the consumer know there’s an actual restriction for in-state customers before reserving the vehicle? I was already under pressure to get this vehicle for the holiday trip my family and I were having to NYC. I had to find out at the store that was 30 minutes away from me. Lastly, the staff there was super rude, and had their lines ready to justify their shady practices. Not once did they apologize. They just went to the fine print to clear themselves. I mean, how many people read the fine print on their cellphone contacts, new phone policy, or new credit card policy? I bet not many do. That's why you post that restriction on the front, so people can make the right choice right away and not waste time. I’ve had bad experience renting vehicles, but this takes the cake.

My reservation was cancelled after I moved it from 12pm to 3 pm and the agent was completely rude and the manager’s only response was to let him know who I spoke to in order to change my reservation! Like that was going to help me in some way! Will never, ever do business with them again!!

I was charged for an upgrade without being asked if I wanted an upgrade. I was charged for a full tank of petrol when I said I didn’t want that option(this was later refunded). The check-in agent was 100% on the hustle - unexpected from a ‘reputable’ company and after a long flight.

I had to queue for 2 HOURS to collect the car which in my opinion is unacceptable as I had a 3 hour journey ahead of me after an 8 hour flight. There were only 3 customer desks open, with a fourth added after an hour. Avis should have been aware of the number of cars booked for that day and had sufficient staff to deal with the numbers arriving. I had booked a Toyota Camry, which is what I got. The only complaint I had about the car was that I would have expected that this class of car would have built in Sat Nav. While it had the system no maps were loaded into it which was disappointing. (Fortunately I had brought my own SatNav but it would have been preferrable to use an inbuilt system). Due to the excessive delay I would not book a hire car from Avis in Chicago again.

There was a worker at Avis Chicago Midway driving a large red Chevrolet SUV back and forth in the dropoff zone at 35-45 mph. If my child had strayed a couple of feet past the car, they would have been killed. This is terrifying and completely unacceptable! We will never book with Avis again. It's unfortunate, because everything else about our experience was 4-5 star, so this one employee is ruining the hard work of so many other Avis employees.
