The car was great but drop off was very confusing and is still ongoing five days after dropping off at the address given to drop off. I dropped off within ten hours but Avis is acknowledging it. Completely frustrating and unacceptable.

The car had an issue connecting to my Phone for GPS - was disconnecting every couple of minutes. Otherwise the checkin and checkout was a breeze and the car worked as expected. Drove almost 1500 miles over the course of a week without any problems.

Terrible. First, I was booked for a tesla model y. Told to wait for my car. After almost an hour, they told me that they don't have a model y, and I can take model 3. Much smaller, and I am 6'4... So, they told me that I either take the model 3 or come back tomorrow. I had a meeting in LA , and almost missed it. So I took the car, now, I found out that it was empty...not charged. Wasted another hour to find a charger and charge it. Overall, I will file a refund request, as I paid for a service that I did not receive. You should compensate me for all of my troubles and inconvenience. Please reply to me asap, Elad Goldsteen

Waited over an hour just to speak to manager . Poor management and rude customer service. They don’t want to give me the car I booked while I was looking at lot the vehicle I reserved and tried to give the car that I did not booked .

They make you pay for there expensive insurance which is more then the rental! The rental agent lied and said my insurance will not cover me . Travel time to site from the airport is terrible! Expect to add on a couple hours to your trip from the airport! Scam!

Pickup and drop off was quick and easy. Too many additional cost. Thinking daily cost rental is $31 then a pile on of other charges on top making the rental 16 x $31 per day. Disappointing.

The company tries to force you to get a bigger car at double the price you book. They say that kayak takes reservations for cars they don’t have. On top of that they require a utility bill and $750 deposit if you’re a local to Las Vegas. Apparently it says that in the booking notes (which nobody ever reads carefully). I had to cancel the reservation and booked with Fox but that caused a delay in my plans.

The two people ahead of us were refused their booking amounts as booked through third party, such as your site., and turned away unless willing to pay between $100-150 US added amount. Both left in anger. Our service attendant forced additional insurance at $150 US, claiming it was not optional as they would not accept our Canadian insurance. My insurance from Canada has been accepted for the last 25 years in Las Vegas no problems. We called head office in Orlando and then attended the next day and had it reversed. Car windshield interior was very dirty to the point it was a hazard to drive in the evening sun, to see pedestrians. Will never rent from Advantage again. We will be contacting the owner in Orlando regarding the rental employees tactics.

The price they quoted us onsite vs kayak was very different. They added on extra fees & taxes. They even asked us for the Declarations page of our car insurance in order to remove their extra coverage off our reservation. It went from $80 to $150. You need to communicate with them to be able to give us a more realistic quote. The shuttle was another story. We jumped on the main car rental shuttle only to find out afterwards that we needed to jump on ANOTHER shuttle after that to get to Advantage. There was no sign or anything directing us on how to get to Advantage. We had to ask where Advantage was to find out we had to take another shuttle. The Advantage shuttle driver was very nice & sweet.

The car smelled like weed when I received it. It didn't matter how much I had the windows open, every time I got back in the car after it was closed up, it reeked of weed again. When I booked the rental Expedia, my receipt said all taxes and fees were included, but when I picked the car up from Hertz, I was charged over $140 in additional taxes and fees. Their customer service would not help with this issue, and repeatedly said I had to contact Expedia.

The offer was fraudulent. Hertz tried to substitute a car that was NOT equivalent to the advertised model. Our family would not fit in the substitute car, nor would it be able to travel to our destination. We were forced to pay hundreds of dollars more to get the vehicle advertised. Furthermore, Hertz recorded the vehicle as fully charged when it was only 38% charged. If we had not taken pictures to prove this, we would have been fraudulently charged an additional $35. We returned with vehicle with double this amount. The charging settings were also adjusted suspiciously to stop at 79%. Had we not noticed (or had proof of not being charged to begin with), the setting would prevent charging to the 80% level needed to avoid the $35 charge. I am considering making a formal protest to the state attorney.

The pickup took over 2 hours in a 24-hour trip. Once we got through the hour+ line at the desk, there were no employees in the garage and no cars available, so we waited outside with other confused customers for another hour, then waited again to drive through a long check out line.

Reserved a car for a day. Showed up and waited in a line for 1.5 hours and was told sorry no car available. Picked a car I reserved months in advance and was given keys and a slip. Walk 5 min to get it and it’s not the same car at all. Walk all the way back and am told they will have a manager find it. Proceed to wait for another 15 min and then get given a car that obviously was not cleaned and was only 50% charged. The interior had food crumbs all over and the back seat had some sort of liquid spilled all over it. Never again will I use hertz.

You get what you pay for. Car is not as clean as well known car rental companies. Customer service was sub par, she didn’t realize I had already paid for my rental and almost charged me again for the reservation until I mentioned it. I was there early and she didn’t realize what time I booked the car for. The office was dirty and nobody was smiling. I was given a vehicle that had loose lug nuts and low tire pressure.

I didn’t like the deposit for being a local. And I had to have them charge me back for a gas return charge even though I returned it full. The staff was good and fast and the truck was nice and clean too. I think on return, instead of just being called out in the line ‘if returning’ the lady just took our keys, it would be better if they gave a receipt of return and check that it is full gas so there is no confusion and unfair charging. Thx

We got to Las Vegas at 6:30 PM and NU was closed. We spent a half hour on the phone to find out that we were not getting a rental car. We had to cancel the reservation and get a rental car from another company. We will not book with NU again.

We got the van on the mystery special and that was great. The check in was horrible. It took FOREVER because we refused to buy the extra insurance as we had purchased private insurance at home. The lady badgered us and bullied us endlessly and would not let up. Finally she handed us the car keys. We had to come back and ask her what kind of car we were driving as she didn’t bother to mention it.
