Nobody present for drop off on Saturday. No parking spots to drop off. The hotel front desk said to drop off the car in paid parking lot and drop off key. I asked for receipt and was told that they have nothing to do with the car rental company. I’ll reach out to budget on Monday, I guess.

Booked a car. Seven weeks later and, just ahead of my holiday, booking was cancelled with no explanation. Avis and Kayak just blamed each other, and nobody helped sort it out. Don’t recommend either company.

Avoid if you can. Ordered automatic car - received manual. They told us if we want automatic we must wait 1,5 hours for it to be ready. There was only one available can that we can choose instead. This car had very poor tyres. Tyre pressure indicator light switch on many times. We couldn’t contact help desk as we tried to call them and every time no answer. We couldn’t display our agreement as it was sent by email and it was secured with a password which did not work (should be 4 last signs from the number of driving licence).
